Joyous O'Neill Darago's Biography

Joyous O'Neill Darago is a Gold Ambassador with the Amazon Herb Company. She has made the mission and vision of the company her own. In 2001, after only 13 short months with the company, she qualified to win a trip for two to the Amazon. In 2002, company founder John Easterling presented Joyous with the Take Action Award. Joyous was also a member of the marketing team for close to two years.

Joyous has actively participated in conference calls for products and business. Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Joyous' first language is French, whereas English is her second language. Her experience in education and as an herbalist, organic vegan chef and nature lover reinforces her passion for making the planet a better place and helps others to preserve our resources for future generations.

Joyous is an avid student of herbs from the rainforest and the world. She enjoys staying in tune with innovative breakthroughs in health and well-being. She embraces the lifestyle of network marketing as it enables her to be her own boss and work in a team environment. She enjoys supporting her group and team leaders. Joyous loves finding solutions to any challenge, creating a path to success that helps her team attain its highest potential and increased self-esteem.

During the past three years, Joyous has taken some time off from building her Amazon business. She has focused her time caring for her lovely 2 ½ year old son Nicholas. She likes to call him her Amazon baby since she continued to take Amazon herbs during her pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Today Nicholas loves to eat the herbs daily. She is now back in action, hosting home parties and showcasing her business at small-scale expos.

Joyous is committed to the environment and to ecological issues. She lives her commitment by organic gardening, eating organic food, and making eco-friendly choices as often as possible. She believes that to make truly sustainable changes, we must spend our money where our values are.

In 2006, she completed 120 hours of training and hands on work in gardening and now holds the title of Master Gardener. Joyous volunteers in her county by providing garden maintenance and design and performing other related activities. She is also the research director for Earthfriends, a non-profit community group dedicated to reducing global warming.

She is on the board of directors of the Global Learning Foundation where she organizes fundraising events and manages projects. Joyous is also a Certified Tantra Yoga Trainer and is now in the midst of completing a Feng Shui class series. She loves to hike, bike, dance, and has one belt in Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art. These activities help focus her body, mind and spirit. She even met the man of her dreams serving him Shipibo treasure tea at a conference!
